Lundin Petroleum and its partners Wintershall and OMV have submitted a Plan for Development and Operation (PDO) for the Solveig field (formerly Luno II) offshore Norway. The Solveig oil discovery is located in Production Licence 359 (PL 359) 15km south of the Edvard Grieg field. Solveig will be developed via a subsea tieback to the Edvard Grieg platform, which will require five development wells with gross peak production of 30,000 boe/d. The anticipated start up is in Q1 2021.
