UK Verbier probe delayed

Jersey Oil & Gas has been informed that the drilling of the Verbier appraisal well in the UK North Sea has been delayed “a few months”. The original plan was to drill the appraisal well this quarter, but operator Equinor (formerly Statoil) said Verbier will now be spudded as the third well in a UK drilling campaign using the West Phoenix semi-submersible rig instead of the first probe in the programme.
