Dorado-3 impressive flow rates

Carnarvon Petroleum reports that the Dorado-3 appraisal well in Australia has achieved better than expected flow rates from the Baxter reservoir. The initial clean-up flow rate test over the Baxter Member was conducted over a 12-hour period with the flow rate constrained by the surface well test equipment. The flow rate achieved a maxi- mum possible measured rate of around 1.36 MMcm/d (48 MMcf/d) of gas and 4,500 b/d of asso- ciated condensate through a 60/64-inch choke.
