Noble has landed contract extensions for a semisubmersible drilling rig and a drillship.The Noble Clyde Boudreaux semi-sub rig has been awarded a one-year contract extension from Thailand’s state-owned PTTEP,which will keep the rig busy until mid-March 2020.The rig will work for PTTEP offshore Myanmar at a dayrate estimated to be at US $120,000.Before it started its contract with PTTEP,last year the Noble Clyde Boudreaux rig underwent a reactivation and upgrade project in the Sembcorp Marine shipyard in Singapore.
