Nord Stream 2 Danish permit

The Danish authorities have granted a construc- tion permit for the Nord Stream 2 offshore gas pipeline in the Baltic Sea. Nord Stream 2 AG, a subsidiary of Russia’s Gazprom and operator of the Nord Stream pipeline, said it had obtained the permit to con- struct its planned pipeline system in the Danish Exclusive Economic Zone southeast of Bornholm. The permit was granted by the Danish Energy Agency (DEA), which is in charge of the applica- tion, and covers a 147km long route section.
