Scepter set for GoT work

Shelf Drilling has won a contract for the Shelf Drilling Scepter jack-up rig from Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production to work in the Gulf of Thailand (GoT). The contract is scheduled to start in Q1 2020 and last until Q2 2022 and includes an option to extend by one year, Shelf Drilling said. The rig has an estimated dayrate for the deal of around US $75,000.
