Adnoc Awards Bu Hasa Upgrade Job

Abu Dhabi National Oil Co. (Adnoc) on Wednesday said it would spend $1.4 billion on raising production capacity at its giant Bu Hasa onshore oil field by 100,000 b/d as part of broader plans to boost output capacity to 4 million b/d by 2020 (IOD Nov.6’18). Spain’s Tecnicas Reunidas was awarded the engineering, procurement and construction contract to carry out the expansion from 550,000 b/d to 650,000 b/d by the end of 2020, Adnoc said.
