Serica Meets Rhum Conditions, Adds BHP Assets

Serica Energy confirmed Monday that revenues accruing to partner Iranian Oil Co. (IOC) from its 50% interest in the UK Rhum field will be held in escrow until US sanctions are lifted, thus allowing production to continue (IOD Oct.11'18). The US Treasury Department granted a new license last month, allowing operations to continue at the North Sea Rhum gas field - a key contributor to UK gas output - until end-October 2019.
