The Iranian oil tanker Sanchi sank on Sunday in the East China Sea after burning for one week, raising concerns about the environmental impact on marine life. The oil tanker has caused an oil slick stretching for 10 kilometers and 1 km wide as black smoke continues to billow from the site, China’s State Oceanic Administration (SOA) said Sunday.
