Iraq Drops Crude Prices for Third Month in a Row

Iraq has dropped the official formula prices for crude exports to the Asia-Pacific for the third month in a row, at least relative to similar Saudi crudes (IOD Dec.14’17). The price cuts are likely a response to recent lackluster interest in auctions of Iraqi crude and appear to recognize that formula prices may have been set too high.
