UK-listed independent Rockhopper Exploration’s share price bounced on Thursday after announcing that plans to sanction the Premier Oil-operated Sea Lion scheme in the North Falkland Basin remain on track for the end of the year (IOD Jun.15’17). The project partners submitted a new draft field development plan to the Falkland Island Government (FIG) in November, while a 42-day public consultation period for the environmental impact statement is due to start this month.
