Gazprom Ups China Export Target

Russia’s Gazprom is looking to export more than 130 Bcm of pipeline gas to China “in the foreseeable future,” CEO Alexei Miller said in an interview published on the company’s website Friday. Gazprom’s appetite for exports is growing despite low gas prices and growing competition from LNG that has made it difficult to speed up the slow negotiations over new supply contracts with China.
