Iraq's incoming Prime Minister Mohammed Allawi is poised to unveil his government which — if approved by parliament — could provide some much-needed certainty after a period of political upheaval that has almost frozen new activity in the country's oil sector. Details of the cabinet appointments have been kept under wraps, but Iraqi sources say they won't include anybody who served in the caretaker administration of Allawi's predecessor, Adel Abdul Mahdi, who resigned after anti-government protests erupted nearly five months ago.
