Osaka Gas Enters Spanish LNG

Japanese gas utility Osaka Gas has bought 20% of a Spanish LNG receiving terminal at Sagunto port in Valencia from Spain’s Ende- sa. The Sagunto terminal has a regasification capacity of 6.4 million tons/yr, which will in- crease to 7.6 million tons/yr once it has been expanded. The site also houses three storage tanks with a combined capacity of 450,000 cubic meters, with a fourth tank under con- struction. The firm did not say when the projects would be completed nor how much it is paying.
