The UK’s Premier Oil says its production guidance for the year of 44,000 boe/d remains on track as its output rose 17% to 46,600 boe/d in the first six months of 2010. Premier boss Simon Lockett says the firm would like to produce 75,000 boe/d by 2012. Earlier this month, Premier upped its reserve estimates for the Catcher-Catcher East area in UK central North Sea Block 28/9 to 60 million-100 million bbl from 50 million-80 million bbl (IOD Jul.6,p6).
