LONDON (ICIS)--PACCOR has begun production of thermoformed polypropylene (PP) containers with 37% recycled PP (R-PP) content supplied by Total. The R-PP is from post-consumer waste and is mechanically recycled. PACCOR is expecting to provide 50% R-PP content containers within the next few months. Although the project remains in its early stages, a company source estimated the potential market for the material at several tens of thousands of tonnes/year.
