Roy Hill's robots

When it started development, Roy Hill looked to have taken learnings from its fellow Pilbara iron ore miners -particularly in terms of its remote operations centre. All of the company's Pilbara operations are controlled from the Roy Hill ROC out by the Perth Airport. However, while Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton and Fortescue Metals Group were heading down the autonomous truck and drill paths, Roy Hill stuck with manned equipment.
