Belarus cuts Urals imports

Urals supplies to Belarusian refneries through the Transneft pipeline system are scheduled 14pc lower than the third-quarter export plan at 4.93mn t (385,000 b/d) in October-December. Only 4.05mn t of crude was supplied to the 323,000 b/d Mozyr and 240,000 b/d Novopolotsk refneries in July-September — 2.21mn t to the former and 1.84mn t to Novopolotsk, which underwent maintenance in August — well below the 5.75mn t scheduled, because of lower products demand caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Fourth-quarter deliveries are split evenly between the plants.
