Lukoil cuts CPC Blend exports

Exports of Lukoil and Rosneft crude through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) system dropped by 13pc on the month to 169,000 b/d (663,000t) in October, according to shipping agents. CPC Blend supplies from Lukoil trading arm Litasco accounted for most of the reduction — although its September loadings had been boosted by a 135,000t cargo rolled over from August. Lukoil provides crude to the CPC system from its Caspian ofshore felds. It has revised up its planned CPC Blend exports this year to 5.5mn t — Lukoil initially expected supply to fall below 5mn t, from 5.2mn t in 2019, because of increased shipments to Azerbaijan’s state-owned Socar.
