Isusa is understood to be the buyer of the small lot of Russian MAP reported last week at $388/t cfr. Other offers were in excess of $390/t cfr. Uruguay imported 82,000t DAP in the first nine months of 2017 according to GTIS data, a marginal drop of 6pc yoy. Russia was the largest supplier with 23,000t, up 20pc. China supplied 17,000t, more than double the 2016 figure while Mexico shipped 15,000t, a rise of 134pc. A further 8,000t came from Saudi Arabia, down nearly a third. There were also notable shipments from Poland, Lithuania and Morocco. September imports were 9,000t, all sourced from China.
