Opec has agreed a return to full compliance with production quotas in an ambigu- ous deal that all sides will be able to interpret as they see ft. The 12 Opec members subject to quotas under the Opec/non-Opec output restraint deal “will strive to adhere to the overall conformity level of Opec-12, down to 100pc, as of 1 July 2018”, a fnal statement says. The statement failed to detail any numbers, beyond a note that compliance in May reached 152pc for Opec and its non-Opec partners.
