Jet fuel margins weaken on impending supply

Middle distillate prices fell on plentiful supply. Naphtha margins weakened amid reduced demand, while gasoline margins rose slightly on rare demand from India. Fuel oil margins eased as more supply emerged from Taiwan. Jet fuel margins weakened (see graph). More jet could arrive in Singapore from the Mideast Gulf next month instead of its usual European destination, owing to a narrower discount for Singapore prices relative to European values. Singapore gasoil margins fell on an unexpected ofer of supply from net im-porter Vietnam. The Nghi Son refnery ofered two gasoil cargoes for November loading, amid high domestic inventories and slim demand.
