(S019_2)Calculation of the life time of steel in the Swedish society

摘要

In this study a new method of calculating the life time of steel called the volume -correlation model is presented. The volume-correlation model can be used to compare the quantities of collected scrap with steel consumption to evaluate the time difference between the two data sets. The new model evaluates data over a long period of time between year 1889 to 2010 and are based on statistics that are offset. The new method can also calculate the life time of materials consumed in light weight applications and as small quantities in different products.
