The secondary refining facility, Ladle Furnace (LF) has been used for clean steel. Many research rePorts have Proved that Producing clean steel dePends on not only control of slag comPosition and Ar bubbling, but also Processing time. As floating time of nonmetallic inclusions in molten steel increases, cleanliness of the steel becomes better. However, during arc heating, the cleanliness of molten steel decreased in some cases of the LF in Dangjin Works in oPeration since 2010. This Problem was confirmed to be related to arc.
