摘要

A PreciPitation strengthening is one of the most imPortant techniques to develoP high strength steels. However, advanced steels require Precise control of not only strength but also machinability. In addition, reduction of the use of alloying elements, which are often rare and costly metals, is high Priority task. Therefore, the oPtimization of the heat treatment conditions and the efficient use of the alloying elements are necessary. Nano-size carbide, such as VC is one of the Promising candidates to achieve those requirements.
