摘要

The reaction rate between slag and metal phases can be enhanced by increasing the interfacial area, mass transfer coefficient, and distribution ratio between slag and metal. One of the effective methods to increase the interface is to emulsify the slag into metal phase. It is well known in the industry that many metal particles are emulsified into slag. This means that the metal particles in slag are very stable and difficult to be separated. The aim of this study is to find the technology to increase the reaction interface by the application of metal emulsion phenomenon.
