摘要

In recent years, ultra low phosphorus below 0,01 percent or 0.005 percent is strictly demanded for some grades of steel, such as steels used at low temperature, marine steels, anti-HIC (hydrogen induced cracks) steels etc. With high phosphate capacity and low activity coefficient of phosphorus pentoxide, BaO-based fluxes are widely used in the process of dephosphorization of the stainless steel and ferroalloys containing elements easily oxidized. The current work is to investigate the dephosphorization efficiency and the ability to weaken rephosphorization of the BaO-based fluxes for the low carbon steel.
