Domestic prices for coated flats not affected by slack demand in Ukraine

Domestic prices for coated steel are steady in Ukraine despite fading demand. Seasonally weak buying activity ismainly seen in HDG coils, while the PPGI sector seems to be still balanced.The recent hryvnia devaluation is one of the reasons for the domestic producers to keep up quotes. Moreover, pricecuts are not believed to be able to spur the transactions in a view of coming holidays. Therefore, situation is not likelyto change next month as well.
