China Steel Corp. (Taiwan) decreased local prices for July-August output

The largest Taiwanese steel manufacturer China Steel Corp. has announced the decrease in domestic official pricesfor material July-August output. The actions of the producer were mainly caused by the tough competition with foreignsuppliers, namely from China, along with the berish moods of local buyers. Notably that earlier Taiwanese mills wereimplementing more restrained pricing policy to persuade the customers that the roll-back in raw materials quotationswill not result into the decline in prices for finished products.
