摘要

In this study, Cu/Nb nano-layered composites were produced by repeated press and rolling process for the first time. Total strain of 8.5 was induced on initial stacks by two different strain paths including three and five passes of repeated press and rolling process. The effect of Nb vol. fraction, and strain path on micro-structural evolution including layer thickness, coherency and uniformity of layers in Cu/Nb composite was investigated by scanning electron microscope and atomic force microscope. It was observed that increasing of Nb vol. fraction results in more uniform and continuous layers. Also, in a same total induced strain, production of Cu/Nb nano-layered composite through five passes results in a more continuously layered structure than three passes route.
