Intertek awarded France-Alderney-Britain project

Quality solutions provider, Intertek, has been appointed by FAB Link to provide marine environmentaland planning support for the France-Alderney-Britain (FAB) Project - a proposed subseainterconnector between France and the UK via the island of Alderney.FAB Link is a joint venture between renewable energy and interconnector transmissions developer,Transmission Investment, and Alderney Renewable Energy. FAB Link is engaged with Frenchtransmission system operator, Réseau de Transport d'Electricité (RTE), in the joint development of a1,400 MW High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) electricity interconnector project that will connect theFrench and UK electricity grids.
