The US green technology developer has announced that it has successfully produced zero-sulfur, zero-lead, 100-octane gasoline from natural gas at its gas-to-liquids (GTL) demo plant in Hillsborough, New Jersey, US. Primus Green Energy said that the breakthrough—achieved through improvements to its STG+ technology—would allow it to make GTL gasoline to meet fuel specifications in the EU and CIS, as well as to offer an alternative to 100LL (100-octane, low lead) aviation gasoline in the US.
