Delta refinery not reaching jet fuel production targets.

The 185K-b/d Trainer, PA (US) facility, which was acquired by Delta Airlines last May from Phillips 66 for $280MM, has undergone major modifications and was expected to increase jet fuel production to about 59K b/d or 32% of total refined product output. However, jet fuel output from the plant is only expected to reach 40K b/d by early next year and Delta has not formally commented on why the jet fuel production level is 19K b/d (32%) below the target announced following the acquisition.
