Conti recalls 14,500 Cross Contact tires

CHARLOTTE, N.C.-Continental Tires the Americas L.L.C. is voluntarily recalling 14,567 Cross Contact LX20 passenger tires, size P275/-55R20 111S, for potential contamination to the belt package during the production process, the company said. The tires were manufactured at Conti's Mt. Vernon. Ill., facility between May 3 and May 9, 2015, and bear the DOT identification number A32A WBDE 1815.
