China’s Price Index of Steel Products in Dec Slightly Rises

China’s steel price index (the price in April 1994=100) in December surveyed by the China Iron & Steel Association(CISA) was 56.37, slightly up 0.18 from the previous month for the first time in 4 months. Its price index of flatproducts rose by 1.81 to 56.79, which pushed up the steel price index. While, that of long products dropped by 0.85 to56.92.
