Mechel Inks Contract with Tangshan Jidong Cement for Thermal Coal

On June 9 local time, Mechel OAO, a major metals and resource company in Russia announced that it inked acontract with Tangshan Jidong Cement Co., Ltd. to supply thermal coal.The contract term is 1 year from April 2015 to March 2016 and during this period, Mechel will supply a total of 1million tons of thermal coal produced at Neryungrinsky coal mine and Elga coal mine in the Sakha Republic to TangshanJidong Cement. Incidentally, the quantity of thermal coal to be shipped and its price are to be determined on a monthlybasis.
