Japan’s Steel Export in Jun Falls by 5.5% from Year Earlier to 3,390 t/t

The Ministry of Finance of Japan released on 23rd Japan’s import and export of steel products (preliminary) inJune 2015. According to it, its export quantity of steel products in June was 3,390 thousand tons (abbreviated as t/t), down2.7% from the previous month and also down 5.5% from the same month last year. Its export amount in the yen was306.3 billion, down 8.0% from the same month last year. While, its import quantity of steel products in June was 614 t/t,down 3.3% ditto for 2 months in a row and also down 16.9% ditto. Its import of the level of 600 t/t had continued for 6months in a row.
