Time to Hold Out in Small Bar Sector: Fudenko Chairman

Now is the time for Japan’s various electric steelmakers to hold out in the small bar sector with strict production to meet what is required even though there is a number of variable factors, according to Chairman Hiroshi Nomura of the Non-Integrated Steel Producers’ Association (Fudenko). He is concurrently President of JFE Bars & Shapes Corp. He made his comments at the regular press conference he held Nov 10. Fudenko is a major organization of domestic electric steelmakers putting out ordinary steel products.
