Japanese Integrateds' EG Sheet Export Talks on Asian Deals

Japanese integrated steelmakers face a stalemated situation in negotiations on their deals of electrolytic galvanized (EG) sheet exports to Asian destinations, mainly to China, for June shipment. Under the existing circumstances, it is likely that the negotiations will take more time beyond Japan's consecutive national holidays in late May to reach a settlement, according to market sources.
