According to a source familiar with the matter, Baoshan Iron and Steel (Baosteel) of China seemed to have noticed the domestic prices of steel for August shipment to each customer in early this week. Under the heavy pressure of cost increase of materials like iron ore and metallurgical coal, its price policy to be announced was watched.
