Only the measure left is to deduce the movements on supply and demand of molybdenum in Japan from the statistics concerning imports of molybdenum released by the Ministry of Finance. According to the above-mentioned statistics, Japan imported 22,141 tons in material of molybdenum oxide ( with Mo 65% min. ) in 2009, having had a considerable decrease of 41.0% compared with that ( 37,546 tons ) in the preceding year of 2008.
