Mongolian metallurgical coal imports of China reached approximately 10 million MT during January-September 2010. Since metallurgical coal imports from Mongol during January-September 2090 remained 2,922,000 MT, Chinese imports of metallurgical coal from Mongol increased 3.4 times from the same period one year ago.
