Xstrata Pours Energy On New Coal Mines Development In Australia--Launching operations at 5 coal mines during 2012-2014

From now Xstrata concentrates its energy on developments of new coal mines of large scale in Australia in order to expand coal exports from this country. As a result from 2012 through 2014, new coal mines of this company launch operations one after another in trapid succession. The mines entering into operations during this period are Mangoola coal mine, Ulan West coal mine, Ravensworth North coal mine in New South Wales, Sarum coal mine, Wandoan coal mine in Queensland. Coal production is started in 2012 at Mangoola and Ulan West, in 2013 at Ravensworth North and in 2014 at Sarum and Wandoan.
