Adani Enterprises, one of the major energy concerns of India, has decided to buy out large scale thermal coal asset in Queensland from Linc Energy Ltd. of Australia. That is to acquire undeveloped thermal coal concession at Galilee Basin in Queensland through its 100 percent subsidiary Adani Mining Pty Ltd. As a result Adani pays cash of Australian Dollars 500 million as well as Australian Dollars 2 per MT as royalty on thermal coal produced at the concession.
