On 15th January, Macarthur Coal Ltd. of Australia announced that its coal sales in the first half of the fiscal year 2009/10 (July-December 2009) reached 2,800,000 MT. As of 18th November last year the company estimated its coal sales in the first half of the fiscal year 2009/10 at 2,400,000 MT to 2,700,000 MT.
