SouthGobi Energy Resources Ltd. of Canada announced a prospect on coal sales reaching 1,500,000 MT in the later half 2010 (July-December) at the existing opencut mine Ovoot Tolgoi coal mine in South Gobi of Mongol. Coal sales from Ovoot Tolgoi in the first half 2010 (January-June) remained 875,000 MT, which means the sales increases by 625,000 MT (71.4%) from the first half.
