Care Inspectorate to help implement RPS guidance

THE Care Inspectorate has launched an online knowledge hub for care and social work professionals in Scotland, and has listed the Royal Pharmaceutical Society website as a resource. The hub (http://hub.careinspectorate.com) is intended as a "one-stop shop" to support improvement in the social care and social work sectors. The announcement follows last month's meeting between the RPS and the Care Inspectorate. RPS director for Scotland Alex Mackinnon and professional support pharmacist Annamarie McGregor met the Care Inspectorate's director of inspection Robert Peat and pharmacy adviser Alison Rees to discuss how the Care Inspectorate can support implementation of RPS guidance.
