Society in talks with RCGP over improving service integration

PHARMACY'S professional body has said it is already discussing with GPs how doctors and pharmacists can deliver more "joined up" services, in response to a Government commitment to integrate health and social care. Royal Pharmaceutical Society head of public affairs Charles Willis said the RPS is working with the Royal College of General Practitioners to identify how integrated care can work in practice, such as in diabetes services. He said the RPS also planned to discuss the issue at this autumn's national party conferences with the main political parties.
