MHRA seeks views on POM status for diclofenac

PHARMACISTS are being asked for their views on whether oral diclofenac preparations should be available only on prescription. Another option put forward by the UK medicines regulator is to retain diclofenac as a pharmacy medicine but to introduce a number of measures to reduce risk to patients with support from the pharmacy profession.
