GENERAL sale list (GSL) medicines could be sold on trains and aeroplanes if a proposal currently out for consultation is approved by ministers. The move would mean, for example, that passengers on long-haul flights would be able to purchase nicotine replacement therapy and pre-packaged minor ailment products that they would traditionally buy in a pharmacy or supermarket, according to the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, which is behind the idea.
